To Search for a Customer

The Customer Portal enables you to search for and view customer details.

The search enables you to search for all customers who are linked to your organization and for customers who are a part of other organizations are linked to your organization (customers within your organization tree). If you are not linked to an organization, you will not be able to search for customers.

 

Customers who belong to organizations that are linked (Parent-Child) can search for other customers who belong to that organization and to linked organization(s). Customers cannot search (for other customers) in organizations that are not linked to their organization.

You can search for other customers by their:

If you do not know their full name or only know part of their name you can use conduct a wild card search.

To search for a customer, follow these steps:

  1. From the Customer Portal Navigation Bar, select the Customer Search menu option. The Customer Search page is displayed.
  2. Type the surname of the customer you are searching for in the Surname field.
  3. Type the first name of the customer you are searching for in the First Name field.
  4. Click OK. Your search results are displayed on the Customer Search page in a table format.
  5. To view the details of a specific customer, select the Customer Record you want to view the details for. You can do this by clicking . The selected customer’s details are displayed on the Customer Search page.

Wild Card Search

You can conduct a wildcard search by typing in the wildcard search criteria “%”. This can typed in either the Surname or First Name fields by itself or after the typed data. A wildcard search can assist you by returning more search results.
