To Review Past/ Current Requests

The Customer Portal enables you to search for and view past and current requests. Past Requests are requests that have been completed or implemented. Current Requests are requests that are open and pending implementation or completion.

You can review past and current requests via a search function. Orders logged via the Shopping Cart can also be reviewed via the Review Past / Current Requests page.

To search for requests, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Review Past/Current Requests menu option. The Review Past/ Current Requests page is displayed.
  2. Select the ownership status of the request you want to locate. The system will base its search on the ownership status selected. The options available are Your Requests, Organization Requests or All Requests. Only one option can be selected.

·         Selecting Your Requests will instruct the system to search for and return results on requests where you are the assigned customer.

·         Selecting Organization Requests will instruct the system to search for and return results on requests where your organization is the assigned customer. If you are not linked to an organization, this option will not be displayed.

·         Selecting All Requests will instruct the system to search for and return results on all requests where the permission to view has been enabled for your user role. This could include requests where other organizations or other users are the assigned customer.

The options available to you to set your search criteria are based on your user profile. For more information, view the topic User Roles.

  1. Select the Summary Only option if you want the search results to be displayed in a summarized format; otherwise, you can leave this field blank.
  2. In the Request # field, type the Request No or Call No. Leave this field blank if you are not searching for a specific request.
  3. Select the request status. The request status can be Open Requests, Resolved < 1 Week or Resolved < 4 Weeks. Only one option can be selected.
  1. Click OK to view the search results. Your search results are displayed on the Review Past/ Current Requests page. If you had selected the Summary Only option in step 3, the Request Summary page is displayed. You can view more details about a request by clicking . Selecting a request that has not been submitted will display the Log a Request page with the request details you have specified earlier. You can complete the remaining fields and Submit the request.

To return to the Review Past/Current Requests page, click the Back button.

Troubleshooting

No Search Results Displayed

If your search does not return any results, try broadening the search to make it more general. You can do this by searching for All Requests or Organization Requests.

Too Many Search Results Displayed

If your search returns too many results, refine your search by providing more information about the request/s for which you are searching.
