To Add a Note to a Request

Notes can be to open requests. You can access this function via the following options:

Select Add Note to Your Request from the Customer Portal Navigation Bar.

- OR -

From your Home Page, select the request within the Your Requests summary and click the    button.

- OR -

Search for a request via the Review Past/ Current Requests menu option and select the request from the results page. Click the   button.

Selecting   button from any of the above pages will display the Add a Note to Your Request page.

To add a note to your request, follow these steps:

  1. On the Add Note to Your Request page, type the Request No in the Request No field. This is the reference or unique identifier for the request. You can only add a note to a request if the request no is valid.
  2. Type the note you want to add to your request in the Description field.
  3. If configured, you can select the Send Email or Send Pager option for the request.

Send Email will send an email message to and Send Pager will transmit a paging notification to the officer to whom the request is assigned.

  1. Click OK. An acknowledgement is displayed. This confirms that the note has been attached to the request.

Notes are a useful function to add more information to the request. Notes can only be added to open requests.
